Welcome to the eCollections site of the Special Collections Research Center at the Henry Madden Library of California State University, Fresno. The digital collections presented here are a small fraction of what is available on-site in Special Collections but there will be more digitized content in the future on an ongoing basis.
The Special Collections Research Center contains rare, unique and valuable materials in several specialized subject areas: the Larson Collection on International Expositions and World’s Fairs from 1851 to the present; the Woodward Collection on Californiana, local and regional history; the University Archives, with historical materials by or about the university, from 1911; the history of wine and wine making; the Central Valley Political Archive; and a general rare book collection.
